Offerings include Asana, Pranayama, Inner Yogatantra, 4 Yogas Meditation, Arousing Bodhicitta, for the benefit of all beings, and Direct Introduction to your “primordially pure, open essence; spontaneously present, luminous nature; and responsive, compassionate power”. Which is the “Great Perfection” of Samsara and Nirvana.

Parking at picturesque and accessible locations, BodhiBus has small class size, lots of personal attention and the goal to introduce you to your true nature and the basis of all that arises.

BODHIBUS CLASSES

Whether you’re a beginner, deciphering the difference between vrksasana (tree), sirshasana (headstand) or a yogi who is pondering the nature of mind, a Bodhibus Class is for you, as it is open to practitioners of all levels.

You work at your own pace, following the teacher’s verbal as well as hands-on guidance. posture options will be provided for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.

A typical Bodhibus class can incorporate:

  • sutra and tantra (dharma texts)

  • asana (physical postures)

  • pranayama (breath work)

  • arousing bodhicitta (active compassion)

  • nada (music)

  • samatha (calm abiding meditation)

A Bodhibus class presents authentic yoga teachings as relevant to one’s life on and off the mat, drawn from the sutras and tantras, supported by chanting, breath awareness, flowing vinyasa sequences, alignment exploration, hands-on assistance, relaxation and meditation. Exuberant, eclectic music plays an integral role: you might practice to a shifting soundtrack of ragas, Hippie Sabotage, spoken word, Krishna Das, Childish Gambino, The Lumineers, Alice Coltrane and Mozart.

'Old School Flow' of

Bodhisatva Yogatantra

Reaching back through lineage to the origin and purpose of all vinyasa ‘flow’ styles of practice, ‘Old School Flow’ conditions, heals and cleanses the ‘gross’ and ‘subtle’ body and prepares the practitioner for awakening through the body-mind connection.

Jivamukti Yoga Vinyasa Krama

The word vinyasa is composed of two words: vi = order + nyasa = placement; and the word krama means “the uninterrupted sequence of events from beginning to end”; so the entire term means “the ordered placement of the sequence of events.” Usually shortened simply to “vinyasa,” it refers to a flowing sequence of asanas linked by breath and intention creatively designed by the teacher with a particular focus in mind.
